Modern Bristol There are lots of things to see and do in Bristol. There are cinemas and theatres, ice-skating and bowling, Bristol Zoo and lots of parks and open spaces. Ashton Court Estate has a mansion house and deer park along with an orienteering course through the woods. In the summer they have events, the main one being the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, with balloonists and enthusiasts coming from all over the world.
